I would love to tell you yes, but if this is something you are really passionate about, then there is something you should know. All tattoo inks are an industry secret. It’s possible and probable that all inks are vegan. Most tints are made from minerals and metals. Serious tattoo artists only use inks that have been tried and true. I believe the vegan tattoo inks are just a novelty to scare vegans into using them. But just because they are vegan doesn’t mean they are good for you. The tattoo supply market has been flooded recently with new types of inks. Using inks that have been used for years is the only way to know that you are getting ink that works. When you are tattooing ink into someone permanently then it is your responsibility to use an ink that you know will not harm them. I hope this explanation helps you, and beware of any tattoo artist that tells you they know exactly what’s in tattoo ink, unless they made it themselves.
So do all the artists at your shop make their own inks? I would really love to get a tattoo but I’m frankly terrified of not knowing what’s in the ink and having someone put that into my skin. Do artists at the Haight-Ashbury use pigments that are “less harsh” than the industrial grade stuff that may or may not be in commercial premixed inks?
Thank you!
We use inks made by people in the industry that have stood the test of time and have proven to work. There is a lot of junk ink out there that many amateur tattoo artists use. This is something we don’t like to give specifics about on the internet on this kind of forum. We would be more than happy to talk about it in detail in person. If you are worried about the type of ink you are getting in your tattoo I have this advice. Look for a tattooist who has been working for longer than 5 years, who works in a shop that has been in business for at least 5-10 years and who has a minimum tattoo price of at least $60+. Of course there are exceptions to this, but it’s a good guideline for those who don’t know much about the industry.
That’s a very general question. It’s like asking asking the price of a bag of groceries. It depends what’s in the bag. Give us a call and give us a brief description of what you are looking to get, and we will happily provide you with an estimated price.
Hey, I was wondering if you could email me because I ‘d like to know how much this one tattoo will cost. When you email me, I will email back with an attachment of the drawing. Please and thank you
no, we don’t approve of black light ink. We only use products that are tried and true and we know will last a lifetime. We do not have interest in novelty inks that could cause problems or even cancer down the road.
I wanted to get the word “redemption” written in script. I’m going to post a link for it below, but wanted to see if a tattoo artist could possibly change it up so its not exactly the same. I tried to contact someone from this site but there are no numbers, so please reply by email? Thanks!

Do any of the artists here do white ink tattoos?
We will consider doing them on dark skinned folks because they show up and look really cool. On light skinned folks… no, we don’t.
